Ready to have a super boujee experience?
Keep reading! The Dior Cafe is now re-opened & located on the third floor of Dior inside the Miami Design District. The rooftop terrace pop-up cafe has a limited menu of coffees, juices, fruits, pastries, and light food options.
Questions about parking? We were able to get valet parking in front of Dior for $5 for 4 hours so we decided that was convenient for us! If that’s not available you can park at the Palm Court Garage as well.
My sweet friend Gaby and I wanted to go a few months ago but because of covid, they were closed so we rescheduled. Once we parked we walked up to the Dior entrance and there was a security guard before the door inside that greeted us. Now, I have to mention the Dior Cafe does not take any reservations so keep that in mind when planning your trip. I must say it is a lot smaller in person than you might expect from photos.
We informed the security guard that we were there to go up to the pop-up cafe and he had someone escort us to the elevator that took us up to the third floor.
Not going to lie, we both started cracking up laughing once we got into the elevator we felt like we were in a movie. We always We weren’t sure if Dior was so secure about everything because that’s how they are or because of covid safety measures.
The cafe has around 10 different tables and seating arrangements of 2 people to 6 people. We went this previous Sunday at 1230pm and there wasn’t a wait or too many people. I would recommend if you’re driving from a distance or want to guarantee a good table to come a little earlier or around the time they open. There isn’t a hostess stand but instead, their servers greet you and take you to your table.
What did we order?
We both ordered their iced coffees which normally I would never order but I wanted to try since they are known for their coffees and I didn’t want anything warm or hot like their lattes or hot chocolate. The iced coffee does not have any flavors available so personally, I didn’t like it and thought it was rather strong. They did have sugars on the table to add to sweeten.
To share, we ordered a chocolate croissant and the burrata which both were so yum and flavorful. If I could have ordered again I would have tried their acai bowl or their macaroons. Pinkies up while you drink your $10 iced coffee and $14 chocolate royal croissant-- might as well play the part of fancy while you’re there! We had such a fun girl's date! We ate and chatted for hours! So thankful for her friendship!
I would definitely go again and make girls day out of it! There is so much to see throughout the Miami Design District!
