Staycation Essentials

I am a big advocate for having products ready to go so it makes the packing process seamless and less stressful. Nothing is worse than forgetting those important products while on vacation!
At the top of my list is the “Beach Please” tote from Santa Barbara Design! This large bag fits everything you need for your trip to the beach or for a day of lounging by the pool. I especially love the material as it is very easy to clean. I usually throw in a towel, a book, extra clothes, sunblock, and sunglasses in my Santa Barbara Design “Beach Please” tote and I can’t wait to see what you pack in yours!
Another option is to throw in one or two of the clear travel bags to help hold smaller items like a hair brush, credit cards, hand sanitizer, lip balm and more!

Another staycation essential, especially if you live in South Florida, is a mini handheld fan. I literally throw this portable fan in my purse or beach bag and bring it with me everywhere I go! It is the perfect size with a USB rechargeable battery. You have no idea how many times this mini handheld fan has come in handy when I am out and about with my friends. It’s literally a lifesaver!
As far as skincare goes, I highly recommend you protect your skin from the possibility of skin damage by the sun. Tech & Computer Picks
The following products include all of my tech must-haves! If you’re anything like me, then your cell phone is definitely an accessory to your outfit and must match with the season. If you have an iPhone 13 Pro then look no further for the absolute perfect silicone case that in my opinion is a dupe for the Apple iPhone case. This silicone case comes in a variety of colors to choose from making it absolutely impossible to NOT have it match with your outfit and the season.
Another iPhone necessity especially for content creators is an adjustable phone stand. This item is a must-have especially when I am sitting at my desk recording a voiceover or filming for Instagram!
If you are a creator then nothing is worse than the dreaded “storage full” notification popping up on your iPhone. For this, I recommend a good quality hard drive! I recently upgraded my Seagate portable hard drive that I had used for years to the Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD and have been loving it!
Speaking of computers, I also share with you my two favorite laptop cases that add a little extra fun to your workset-up! These come in a variety of colors for Macbook Air and Macbook Pro.
In addition, an item that continually brings me joy (thanks to my OCD tendencies) is of course the MacBook Charger Organizer. This item speaks for itself as it keeps your charging cords organized for easy transportation during those “work on the go” moments.
And for those “work on the go” moments, this easy and portable Bluetooth wireless mouse is a game-changer!
Makeup & Beauty
Let’s chat about all things beauty and makeup! Is anyone else like me and loves a good morning routine? If so, then you understand the importance of having all your favorite products organized!
My number one recommendation for you when it comes to organizing your essentials is the Stackable Jewelry Organizer. Let me tell you, I am obsessed. I chose the white and no surprise, it looks so beautiful with the rest of my room decor.
One of my favorite parts of this jewelry organizer is how much storage it has. From rings to earrings to necklaces and bracelets, this organizer holds it all! I can’t tell you how many organizers I have been through in the past and I feel as though I have finally found the perfect one. The stackable feature makes it truly unique and I cannot recommend it enough!
If you’re a gal on the go like me, I am positive you will enjoy the Travel LED Mirror. It’s easy to throw in your duffle or carry-on bag and provides the best lightning for on-the-go touch up’s or make-up applications!
Another staple in my makeup routine is the Simple Kind to Skin Makeup Removal Wipes. I have used the product for years now and love how smooth and gentle they are on my skin! They do not strip or dry out your skin but leave your skin feeling hydrated and super clean.
Last but not least, I cannot recommend the Beauty Sponge Holder more! As I mentioned above, I love having a place for all of my items, and having a cute and easy way to store something as simple as your beauty blenders is a win in my book!
Camera Must Haves
One of my most asked questions is “what do you use to take photos” so grab a seat because the tea is hot, sister!
My top recommendation for any creator looking to level up and jumpstart their photography into a business is the Canon EOS R and I pair that with the RF 35mm lens. This is the lens I always use, especially for my portrait and lifestyle shots.
If you’re not a full time creator and just want something on the go and easy to shoot with then I recommend the Canon G7x Mark II. This is a “point and shoot” camera that is portable and extremely user friendly. I recently used this camera for a special project I am working on and I fell in love with it all over again! I purchased this camera when I began blogging and it was what I used when I started my business.
When it comes to tripod’s, my all time must have is the Regetek Travel Tripod that fits both a camera and an adapter for the iPhone. This tripod is great for when you don’t have someone to take a picture of you or you need to stabilize your shots for whatever you’re working on.
Women’s One Piece Swimsuits
If you’ve been following along for a while now then you know I am always staycationing (check out the Tangerine Dream or Hilton Cabana blog post). I frequently receive DM’s asking where my swimsuits are from and so I have put together a list of one-piece swimsuits that will have you feeling confident and looking good!
Personally, Amazon Swim has been my go-to when shopping for just the right swimsuit for upcoming travel.
