Ann’s Florist & Coffee Bar is located in the heart of Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale. Visiting this cafe was like being teleported to Paris if that was only a thing LOL! Their menu is filled with so many yummy options: coffees, teas, pastries, wraps, and lots more. As soon as you walk into the restaurant you have the option to sit outside or indoors.
They have lots of outdoor seating and limited inside seating so keep in mind. Lots of people are virtually working or studying so this is a good place if you’re looking for a go-to spot.
They also have a champagne bar with high-top chairs if you would like to sit there and sip on some champagne or wine while you work or study. I won’t tell if you won’t jk LOL. The main focus inside is their floral wall, everyone is fascinated by it and wants a take a picture for the #gram!
Did I wait close to an hour eyeing someone while they sat there on their phone to sit thereafter? No, of course not (wink wink) There’s one table that’s right in front of the wall you’re welcome to get serviced at it is a popular spot so try going early. The second time I went we only had to wait a few minutes because the people before us were already finishing up eating.
Now let’s talk about my top picks to order! My first favorite is their iced chai latte. If you didn’t know by now I am not a fan of Starbucks but I did love their iced chai so I’m always looking for cafes or coffee shops that have the best iced chai. Friends, I found one of my favorites (stay tuned for my current favorite coming to the blog soon) it’s so creamy and smooth.
I thought Starbucks was good, oh man, I just needed to broaden my palette LOL the only thing that would make it better if they had an option for a larger size cup. I have to enjoy every sip to make it last LOL I’m being dramatic but it’s very good!
Their hot chocolate and croissants are so good paired together! My husband had the ham and cheese croissant and he loved the combination together. I’ve also tried their plain croissant and it was yummy and buttery.
We also tried their chocolate chip banana bread (one of my go-to choices at a cafe. Off-topic, I got hooked on it during quarantine when everyone was obsessed with making it. Back to the blog post, if you love chocolate chip banana bread, then you’ll want to try Ann’s out! Their macaroons are a must as well, my two favorites were their vanilla and rose flavor! The filling of the macaroon was actually a decent amount compared to other ones I’ve tasted before.
I can’t forget to mention they have a champagne vending machine! How stinking cute! This place definitely a vibe! The service is amazing, I’ve been there twice and I will definitely be going back!
